Review & Swatches: Too Faced Melted Lipsticks

Review & Swatches: Too Faced Melted Lipsticks

So today I’m sick. Again. However I got an AMAZING order from Sephora in the mail yesterday and though I’m not wearing makeup today I wanted to rave about one of my all time favorite lippies.

Listed above from left to right are the melted lipsticks in Melted Sugar, Melted Nude, which you can find here. The last two are from the melted chocolate line, they’re Chocolate Honey, and Chocolate Cherries find those two here. They’re $21 but in my opinion they are so worth it.

Melted Sugar was my first Too Faced lipstick and it’s been one of my every day go-to’s ever since.

This is by far my favorite light pinkish nude. I loved it so much that when the chocolate line came out I knew I had to have them so I started out with just two, and though I haven’t worn them yet I’m hooked on the colors already. These lipsticks are so pigmented, and they have such an amazing formula that’s creamy and just makes me so happy.

The only problem you may have with this lipstick is that it can come off fairly quickly compared to other liquid lipsticks, however that’s an easy fix if you just apply some translucent setting powder on your lips after applying the lipstick.

The applicator makes for smooth and easy coverage without a mess. At first I wasn’t a fan, but after the second time using it I fell in love.

My only complaint may be that the packaging doesn’t always do a great job at showcasing the color, but if you swatch it first that shouldn’t be a problem either.!

Did I mention the chocolate line smells like brownie batter.?  Oh my goodness. It’s amazing.
